When I think Christmas, I think eggnog. While drinking straight eggnog is fun, this eggnog french toast recipe is a sure way to surprise your taste buds and is perfect for a decadent breakfast.

    Preheat a griddle to 350ºF. Beat together eggs, eggnog, sugar and extract. You can also use a frying pan on medium heat.

    Soak desired bread in mixture for two minutes on each side.

    Place on hot griddle and cook thoroughly until golden brown on each side, approximately 3-4 minutes per side depending on the thickness of your bread. Serve warm with maple syrup and confectioners’ sugar.
