How to Make Edible Banana Granola Bowls

Using just a muffin tin, you can make your own edible banana granola bowls. Fill ’em up with a dollop of yogurt and a handful of berries for a hardy breakfast, or a spoonful of peanut butter and Nutella for a sweet little treat.

This granola dish is sure to keep your stomach from growling during that long lecture, and you can taste the oats and banana with every bite you take. B-a-n-a-n-oh yes.

Banana Granola Bowls

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Servings: 4 large granola bowls
  • Medium
Ingredients
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon almond butter
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ¾ cup oats
  • Yogurt
  • Berries

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

In a large bowl, add maple syrup and almond butter. Microwave for 1 minute.

Stir, then add in the coconut oil, mashed banana, sugar, vanilla extract and mix together.

Pour the oats into the mixture and stir together.

Cover with plastic wrap and place into the freezer for 15 minutes.

Step 6

Grease the inside of a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 7

Scoop out a spoonful of the doughy mixture and place into the muffin tin, pressing against the bottom and insides to form a bowl.

Step 8

Bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes until the tops are golden brown.

Step 9

Once cool, carefully pop the bowls out of the muffin tin. Spoon in a little yogurt and top with your fav berries. De-lish.
