How to Make Cake Batter Funfetti Waffles

There is no better way to start off the day than with funfetti waffles. This waffle recipe uses Funfetti cake batter (yes, cake), making the waffle sweeter and fluffier than your average waffle.

Make this treat for a birthday, just for a fantastic breakfast, or maybe even for a midnight snack, because breakfast time is all the time.

Funfetti Waffles

  • Prep Time: 20 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Servings: 18 waffles

Ingredients
  • 1 box Funfetti cake mix
  • 3 cup milk
  • 2 cup flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Maple syrup
  • Whipped cream
  • Sprinkles

Step 1

Mix together all ingredients, except for maple syrup, whipped cream, and sprinkles, until well combined. There will be some lumps but that’s okay.

Step 2

Heat your waffle iron, and spray with cooking spray. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook until golden brown.

Step 3

Remove from iron, plate, top with syrup, whipped cream and sprinkles. Enjoy.
