How to Make Bacon Tater Tot Truffles
Bacon, tater tots and truffles? These are some of our favorite things all wrapped (literally) into one. There is no such thing as too much of a good thing, so let’s throw it all together in a truffle, shall we?
Bacon Tater Tot Truffle
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 pack of toothpicks
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Step 1
Cut bacon in half.
Step 2
Wrap tater tots in raw bacon. Use toothpick to secure placement.
Step 3
Bake for 20 minutes, or until bacon is crispy, at suggested tater tot temperature on the bag.
Step 4
Allow the bacon tater tots to cool. Microwave chocolate chips for two minutes and stir. Continue microwaving until completely melted in 30 second intervals.
Step 5
Dip bacon tater tots in the chocolate.
Step 6
Chill for 5 minutes and remove toothpick.
Step 7
If you’re feeling fancy, drizzle some melted white chocolate on top.
