How to Make a Quick and Easy Tahini Salad Dressing

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at BU chapter.

For a long time I had no idea how to use tahini other than in hummus. The taste is reminiscent of the nut butters I eat copious quantities of, it’s no surprise this is my new favorite salad dressing.

The kind of nutrients you get from something green and leafy like a salad can only be utilized by the body with the accompaniment of good fats. Tahini is made from ground sesame seeds, which are high in unsaturated fats, while also being a complete protein. Lemon juice is the other main ingredient in this dressing, moderate quantities keeps your insides alkaline.

You’ll never have to reach for bottled salad dressing again because this recipe is simple and comes together in less than 5 minutes.
