While eating a greasy breakfast sandwich might feel good in the midst of your raging hangover, it’s not going to sustain you for much more than 5 minutes after. Most likely you’ll feel more bogged down then you did when you woke up at 2 p.m. The key to a good hangover meal includes protein, a little boost of caffeine and more than anything, hydration. This quick and easy breakfast recipe will have you out of your fog and into productivity mode in no time!

Open Face Egg Sandwich
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 1
Ingredients:
2 rice cakes
2 Laughing Cow cheese wedges (I used the original Swiss but you do you)
Handful of spinach leaves
2 eggs
Salt and pepper
Directions:
1. While the pan is heating up, spread cheese on the 2 rice cakes and place the spinach on top. Set aside
2. Cook the two eggs to your liking then place on the rice cakes
3. Season as you wish!

Coffee Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
8 oz. of brewed coffee
1 banana
2 Tbs. of peanut butter
2 heaping spoonfuls of vanilla Greek yogurt
8 ice cubes
Directions:
1. Blend until silky smooth!
