Cut the watermelon into small, bite sized cubes that will fit onto the skewer. You may not need the whole watermelon depending on how many skewers you are planning on serving to people. This is where you need to gage how much watermelon you need to cut up for the specific amount for your party.

Next, cut the guavas in half and into circular bite sized pieces. The outside skin of the fruit is edible, so it’s up to you if you want to leave the peel on or not, either way is just as tasty.

Side note: Guavas are a seasonal fruit and may not be avaible at some markets. If you have trouble finding them in the fresh produce aisle at your local store or famers market, try looking in the frozen foods section where you will most likely see them packaged up with all the other frozen fruits and veggies.

Third step is to take your passion fruit and cut it in half. Take a spoon and scoop the juices and seeds out of the pit of the fruit and pour the flesh into a siff over a small bowl. Use the spoon to sqeeze as much of the juices into the bowl to use in our last and final step.

Side note: Passion fruit are another seasonal fruit that may or may not be in your local stores or famers markets. If you also have trouble finding passion fruit, try going into the frozen foods section in your market as well and you’ll find the passion fruit peeled and without seeds in a package waiting for you to pickup.

Now you have a super yummy, healthy, and fresh snack for you and your friends or family to enjoy for this summer!
