Strawberry Banana and Granola Pancakes That Will Make Your Parents Proud

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UFL chapter.

We all had that one friend (me) whose parents did not allow them to eat sugary cereals for breakfast. Most of the time they would feed us granola instead, but tbh I’m not complaining. Granola is my childhood favorite cereal because it never got soggy, unlike other cereal. Instead of using syrup, these granola pancakes have Danimals, which is the only way my parents could get me to eat “yogurt”. This healthier take on pancakes is guaranteed to make your mom and dad proud.

Make pancake mix as directed on the package (our box mix said 1.5 cups of water, but follow the box you are using). Add in 1/2 cup of your desired granola.

  3. Make a minimum of 5 extra large pancakes to create your stack. As you stack your pancakes, layer them with the cream cheese fluff filling and the sliced bananas.

  4. Pour the danimals on top and sprinkle on the remaining granola.

Eat and reminisce to when you were five.
