Ginger Lovers Have Got to Try This Japanese Ginger Pork Recipe
One of my favorite ginger recipes is made by my own mama–thin-sliced Japanese ginger pork. This is something she makes for me when I have a cold and I am hangin' out under the covers of my bed, yet still somehow have an appetite (the life of a foodie, am I right...?). Ginger is a root that is incredible in aiding health conditions such as nausea, digestion, and pain. It has a warm spiciness with a slightly sweet bite, which instantly fills you with energy. This dish is so good, it kind of makes me wish I was sick more often, because it is so rare for my mom to make it.
This is a Japanese dish, so if you have a Mitsuwa or Nijiya Japanese market near you, you're in luck! If not, hop on over to Amazon to order some of the marinade ingredients.
