This Fruit Salsa Looks Like You Spent Hours Preparing It

Typically, when you think of salsa you envisions tacos, a side of queso, and fresh tortilla chips. That sounds amazing, because who doesn’t love tacos with some salsa, but let’s think parties, bright colored food, and homemade cinnamon tortilla chips! Fruit salsa is the dip you're looking for. I made this recipe at home and it was gone before I could go back for seconds. The best part about this recipe is it doesn’t require any skills in the kitchen— literally anyone is capable of making this delicious dish.

Step 2

Using 3 tortillas at a time, spray each side with olive oil and then sprinkle sugar/cinnamon on each side. Stack all three tortillas together and cut (using a pizza cutter is your best option) into small chips.

Step 4

Cut the fruit into small cubes (except for the lemon). The blackberries and raspberries will start to fall apart, but that is okay.

Step 5

Once the apple is cut, juice half the lemon on the apple pieces. This helps the apples from turning brown, but more importantly gives the salsa a nice kick! If you really like the flavor of lemon, zest the lemon and and the shavings into the fruit salsa at the end.

Step 6

Now that all your fruit is properly cut and flavored, mix everything together and enjoy!
