Let’s be real, the fall aesthetic is something most of us aspire to achieve when the time comes every year. However, in college, there isn’t always an oven or a stovetop available and you don’t usually have the time to buy ingredients that you’re only going to use once. Here are three, simple and cute fall recipes you can make in your dorm room to satisfy those dessert cravings.
1. Caramel Rice Krispies
Ingredients
Instructions
Microwave softened room temperature butter and marshmallows for 45 seconds, then stir. Microwave an additional 15 seconds if mixture is not smooth enough to stir.
Combine the rice krispies cereal with this mixture.
In a separate bowl, microwave the caramel candy and milk for about 30 seconds and stir until smooth.
Pour the caramel mixture over the rice krispies and dig in!
Optional: Sprinkle course sea salt on top of the caramel, or melt candy with chocolate and caramel—like Rolos—on top of the rice krispies.
2. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
Ingredients
Instructions
Use frozen banana slices or freeze a banana overnight, at least 6 hours.
Blend the banana and milk in a blender.
Add the peanut butter and blend.
Mix in chocolate chips and serve!
3. M&M Popcorn Balls
Ingredients
Instructions
Melt the butter in the microwave for 25 seconds, then add marshmallows and microwave for 45 seconds.
Combine marshmallow mixture with Mu0026Ms and popcorn.
Create round balls from this mixture, making them as big or small as you want.
Instead of Mu0026M’s you can also use candy corn, chocolate covered pretzels, or caramels. Enjoy!
