Easy Banana Bread Pudding Using Ingredients You Already Have in Your Kitchen

The grocery items that usually end up spoiling the kitchen are milk, bread, bananas and eggs. What better way to use them all up than by making a simple, yet delicious, banana bread pudding? Customize your final product by adding your choice of toppings, ranging from chocolate chips to nuts.

#SpoonTip: Use healthier versions of the ingredients to cut back on unnecessary calories. Think whole wheat bread, low fat milk and non-fat Greek yogurt.

Step 2

Use your hands to tear the bread into approximately 1×1 inch pieces. Set aside.

#SpoonTip: For a better tasting final product, rip off the crusts.

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the milk, eggs, bananas, yogurt, brown sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Mix well.

Step 4

Soak the pieces of bread in the mixture and use your hands to mix well. Make sure all pieces are submerged. Let it sit for 20 minutes.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 350ºF.

Step 6

Pour the mixture-soaked bread into a baking pan and spread evenly. You can either mix in your choice of toppings or sprinkle them on top for an prettier look.

Step 7

Bake for 60 minutes, or until the bread has puffed up and the pudding is turning brown.

Cut out a square (or more, we won’t tell), and enjoy.
