Adulthood got you down? Between homework, extracurriculars, work and maybe a social life, the good ol’ days sound pretty great. Remember scheduled snack and nap time? Yeah, me neither.  Well if you need just a small reprieve from the dog-eat-dog world, here are two snacks you forgot you loved. So schedule some snack time  (maybe a little nap time after, go ahead, you deserve it) and dig in.

Cup of Dirt

Easy

Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients:

4-pack of chocolate pudding cups
8 OREO cookies
8 gummy worms (Tip: try sour gummy worms if you’re feeling like a rebellious tween)

Directions:

1. To save on precious time, discard the lid and use the cup the pudding comes in.
2. Smash 2 cookies into crumbles and sprinkle over top, making sure to cover the surface.
3. Place 2 gummy worms on top of the cookie crumble.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the remaining 3 cups.
5. Now dig into that dirt!

Ants on a Log

Easy

Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients:

4 large stalks of celery
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1/4 cup of raisins (Tip: you can replace these with craisins or half and half!)

Directions:

1. Cut each stalk into 4 pieces (if you’re using smaller stalks cut in half or thirds).
2. Spread peanut butter down the center of each piece (inside the log).
3. Stick 4 raisins in a line on each log.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the remaining 3 stalks.
5. Sit criss-cross applesauce on the floor and enjoy this timeless treat.
