4-Ingredient Dark Chocolate-Covered Rice Krispies Bites

If you haven’t noticed, we at Spoon love anything and everything peanut butter and chocolate. With the holiday season upon us, it only makes sense for us to give you an easy and delicious peanut butter and chocolate treat that’s great for your holiday dessert tray. So, without further ado, we present to you a four-ingredient recipe that’s sure to make your — and everyone else’s — holiday dessert dreams come true.

 

Dark Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Bites

    Add the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and Rice Krispies to a large bowl and mix with a spoon until loosely combined.

    Using your hands, thoroughly combine the mixture until a large ball forms.

    Using a cookie scoop or your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.

  4. Place the peanut butter balls on a plate lined with parchment paper and let them set in the freezer for 10 minutes.

    Meanwhile, melt the chocolate using a double boiler or the microwave. If microwaving, stir the chocolate every 15 seconds for a smooth chocolate shell.

    Remove the balls from the freezer and coat them in the melted chocolate.

    Return thechocolate-covered balls to the freezer to cool the chocolate into a hard shell.
