The Classic Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie

Nestlé Toll House. Or as Phoebe from Friends called it, “Nesleé Tolousé”.

This brand is the most popular of its kind, with Nestlé chocolate chips often being a common household item. Nestlé provides a chocolate chip cookie recipe on every bag, and since the company is over 100 years old, we knew that they must have spent years crafting the perfect cookie recipe.

But would this famous cookie recipe truly live up to our high expectations?

Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup Nestlé Toll House chocolate chips

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375℉. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.

Step 2

Combine butter, both sugars, and vanilla extract in a larger bowl.

Step 3

Add eggs, one at a time, to the butter and sugar mix.

Step 4

Gradually add dry mixture to wet mixture.

#SpoonTip: Add dry mixture 1/3 at a time.

Step 5

Once dry mixture is fully incorporated, fold in chocolate chips.

#SpoonTip: Feel free to add other condiments here (i.e. nuts, white chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and more).

Step 6

Use tablespoons to spoon the mixture onto the baking tray.

Step 7

Bake for 9-11 minutes.

Let cookies rest for 2 minutes before devouring.
