This Chocolate Turtle Poke Cake Deserves Extra Caramel

Turn a box of cake mix into an instant hit that is just as fun to make, as it is delicious with this chocolate turtle poke cake recipe. I bet you never thought poking holes in a cake could be this fun.

Chocolate Turtle Poke Cake

Ingredients
  • 1 package chocolate cake mix prepared according to package instructions
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can store-bought chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Caramel syrup for drizzling on top

Step 1

Bake cake according to package instructions.

Punch holes in top of cake using a round handle.

Pour can of condensed milk over cake and spread until it fills all the poked holes. Chill for 1 hour.

Spread chocolate frosting over cake.

Drizzle on some caramel sauce, sprinkle walnuts and mini chocolate chips over cake.
