My apartment always has as surplus of bananas, which means we're always trying to figure out what to do with our overripe bananas. Our favorite thing to make is chocolate chip banana bread. Banana bread is healthy enough to eat for breakfast, but the added chocolate chips make this quick bread a great dessert too.

Instead of making a loaf of banana bread, I opt for chocolate chip banana bread muffins because they're easy to grab and eat on the way to class or carry around for a snack later in the day.
