How to Make Birthday Cake Shots

Let’s be honest: birthday cake flavored things are infinitely better than actual birthday cake. This year, celebrate in style with a boozy drinkable version. No candles necessary.

Birthday Cake Shots

These shots are perfect for a 21st birthday – or a 22nd or a 23rd. You get the idea. The rim, which is dipped in chocolate frosting and covered with sprinkles, doesn’t just look pretty – it’s also the perfect chaser. Make a wish and drink up.

Servings: 2 shots

Ingredients:

2-oz. vanilla vodka
1-oz. Frangelico
1-oz. chocolate liqueur
2 teaspoons yellow or white cake mix
1-oz. half and half
Chocolate frosting
Sprinkles

Directions:

1. Dip the rims of two shot glasses in chocolate frosting. Dunk glasses in sprinkles. Set aside.

2. Pour vodka, Frangelico, chocolate liqueur, cake mix and half and half into a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously.

3. Pour vodka mixture into shot glasses. Serve immediately.
