You Can Make This Bomb Açaí Bowl in Your Dorm Room

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Georgetown chapter.

Açaí, an antioxidant-packed fruit native to the Amazon Rainforest, has become hugely popular over the past few years (just check your Insta feed). Now, you don’t even have to be from LA to find a juice shop that sells these aesthetically pleasing bowls of goodness. But if you don’t have the time or money for a high-end juice shop, no worries, I’ve got you covered. This açaí bowl recipe is super easy and highly customizable.

Instructions

  1. Hailey Maher

Put 1/2 cup almond milk, açaí packet, and frozen banana in a blender. Blend until thick. Be patient, you might have to stop and stir a few times.

Pour into your best bowl, because you know you’re going to Insta this.

Add your desired toppings. For this bowl, I decided on chia seeds, coconut chips, Bear Naked Triple Berry Granola and PaleoKrunch Apple Pie Granola, hemp hearts, and cacao nibs.

    Wow, art.

Repeat and eat. Maybe invite your friends, or maybe keep these delicious bowls all to yourself.
