March 24th marks National Cocktail Day- a holiday worth celebrating, in my opinion. Celebrate National Cocktail Day by either reconnecting with your fave cocktails or trying out some new and exciting ones. If you’re looking for some cocktails to add to your repertoire, below are five delish recipes to get you started. Enjoy, and drink responsibly! 

1. If you enjoy Vodka...

Spiked Cherry Mule

Sparkling Ice

Ingredients:

- Sparkling Ice Spiked Cherry Lime Chiller

- 2 oz Vodka

- ¼ tsp of fresh ginger, diced

- ½ oz lime juice

- 1 oz Grenadine

- Mint, cherries, and lime for garnish

Directions: 

In a copper mug, muddle lime juice and ginger. Add ice, grenadine, and vodka. Fill with Sparkling Ice Cherry Lime Chiller. Garnish with cherries, lime, and mint. 

2. If you enjoy Rosé...

Babe Rosé Italian Spritz

Babe

Ingredients: 

- ¾ cup pineapple juice, chilled

- ¼ cup Aperol  

- ¼ cup fresh lime juice  

- 4 teaspoons sugar  

- 4 cans - BABE Rosé OR BABE 100 Rosé  

- Ruby red grapefruit wedges (for serving) 

Directions:

Whisk passion fruit juice, Aperol, lime juice, and sugar in a large pitcher until sugar is dissolved. Stir in the BABE Rosé. Pour into glasses over ice. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.

MAKES 4–6 SERVINGS. 

3. If you enjoy Tequila...

Tanteo Tequila Habanero Passion Fruit Margarita

Tanteo Tequila

Ingredients: 

- 2 oz. Tanteo Habanero Tequila

-  1 oz. Cointreau 

-  ½ oz. Passion Fruit Purée

- ½ oz. Lime Juice

Directions:

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rock glass.

4. If you enjoy Whiskey...

Proper Iced Coffee 

Proper No. Twelve

Ingredients:

- 1 Part Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey  

- 4 Parts Cold Coffee

- Milk or creamer of choice

- Sweetener of choice 

Directions:

Fill glass with ice. Add Proper No. Twelve and cold coffee. Add creamer and sweetener to taste.  

5. If you enjoy Beer...

Salt and Pepper Shandy by Yvonne Langen from Taste & Tipple

Partake

Ingredients:

- 2 oz grapefruit juice 

- ¾ oz black pepper syrup 

- 3 dashes Angostura bitters 

- 1 can Partake Brewing Pale  

- Pinch flaky sea salt 

For the Black Pepper Syrup:

- 1 cup sugar 

- 1 cup water 

- 1 tbsp black peppercorns, whole 

Directions:

Add grapefruit juice, black pepper syrup, and bitters to a Collins glass. Stir to combine. Top with Partake Brewing Pale. Add a pinch of salt. Enjoy!

How to Make the Black Pepper Syrup:

Combine sugar, water, and whole black peppercorns in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Strain into a glass jar, removing peppercorns. Seal and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
