4 Donut Hacks Using Twix, Candy Corn, Reese’s and Snickers

It’s Halloween, which means candy lines the aisles of pretty much every store you step into. So, even if you don’t trick-or-treat this year (which is still acceptable in college), you still seem to end up with a huge supply of candy. Want to make that candy socially acceptable to eat in the morning? Try these recipes with your favorite donut.

Reese's Donut

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 1 minute
  • Total Time: 6 minutes
  • Servings: 1 donut

Ingredients
  • 1 donut
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 dash water or milk
  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Reese's
  • 1 teaspoon peanut butter chips

Step 1

Microwave your donut, if desired, for eight seconds. Mix the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and water or milk until a glaze forms.

Step 2

Spread the glaze over the donut.

Step 3

Dip the donut in chopped Reese’s and top with peanut butter chips. Heat the peanut butter for a few seconds in the microwave and spread on top of the donut.

Snickers Donut

Step 1

Heat the donut in the microwave for eight seconds, if desired. Mix together the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and water or milk until a glaze forms.

Step 2

Spread the glaze on the donut.

Top with peanuts, snickers, and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Or more than a drizzle, no one will judge you.
