Whether it is platonic or you’re trying to take it to the next level there is one snack suited for any movie occasion: popcorn. We all know it, we all love it, but sometimes we’re left wanting more than the usual butter and salt combo. Sure, we can throw truffle salt on it, but that shit is expensive and we’re on a budget here people. Sriracha Honey Seasame Popcorn
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 bag popcorn
3 tablespoons butter
1 heaping tablespoon sriracha
1½ tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Pop 1 bag of popcorn in the microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds.
2. Melt butter in the microwave for 30 seconds.
3. Add sriracha and honey to the melted butter.
4. Pour mixture over popcorn. Mix.
5. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
Rosemary Parmesan Popcorn
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 bag popcorn
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1½ cups grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Pop 1 bag of popcorn in the microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds.
2. Melt butter in the microwave for 30 seconds.
3. Add olive oil and rosemary.
4. Pour mixture over popcorn. Mix.
5. Sprinkle parmesan cheese.
Dark and White Chocolate Peanut Butter Popcorn
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 4 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
1 bag popcorn
2 tablespoons butter
1½ tablespoons peanut butter
½ cup dark chocolate
½ cup white chocolate
Directions:
1. Pop 1 bag of popcorn in the microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds. Spread popcorn out on a parchment lined baking sheet.
2. Melt butter in the microwave for 30 seconds. Drizzle over popcorn.
3. Melt dark chocolate mixed with peanut butter for 1 minute.
4. Melt white chocolate for 1 minute.
5. Drizzle dark and white chocolate over the popcorn.
6. Refrigerate for about an hour. Break apart and inhale.
