This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UCSD chapter.

If you’re like any other typical college student, it can be hard to find time to find quick and easy ways to prepare food that reminds you of home. For me, this means bonding with my friends over food. Dorm living can be difficult and meeting new people may seem nearly impossible. Whether its free In-N-Out or Make Your Own Sundaes, food has this uncanny ability to bring people together.

Try these recipes out and invite over the neighbors. Don’t have a full kitchen or oven at your disposal? No problem. Just pop this in the microwave and voila! Instant mug muffin.
