Enter these chocolate quinoa squares, which are made up of popped quinoa (which have a scarily similar taste to popcorn), only they’re packed with protein and will help you keep up your energy throughout the day.

    Make popped quinoa.

    In a food processor (or if you don’t have one, using a motor and pestle), blend popped quinoa until it reaches a flour-like consistency.

  3. Add dates and blend. Add in additional water until the mixture forms a dough.

    Line a container with plastic wrap and press dough into the container.

  5. Refrigerate for one hour.

    Take bars out of plastic wrap and cut into squares. Enjoy!
