What do you get when you take a historical building, seven culinary vendors, hip furniture, and toss in music and a throng of eager foodies? The Hall on Franklin

If you love options, hit the court, and I'm not talking about a foodcourt. Seven distinct and unique experiences in one place, from poke to pho to pie, and with bold takes on some of your old favorites.

The Hall on Franklin's philosophy is pretty simple: "We are better together." The restaurant collective is product of the vision of Jamal Wilson, the investor behind the project, and the collaboration of some of the biggest names in Tampa Bay's food scene.

Comprised of light, rich leather, big chandeliers, and a touch of industrial-esque, it's definitely doing its thing design-wise (you can actually shop the space!) The gorgeous yellow brick building is one of a few historical retail and dining fronts popping up in Tampa Heights, just north of downtown Tampa.

But you came here for the food right? Poke Rose serves up deliciously healthy poke bowls using fresh and colorful ingredients. Try, The Poke Rose poke bowl (Try saying that three times fast!) North Star Eatery features bold taste in the style of Asian street food. I had the Kimchi Waffles with sesame soy whipped sauce, so good! At Heights Fish Camp you'll find everything from oysters to peel and eat shrimp to fried gator bites (yes, you read that correctly). Not feeling gator? Try Melt Shoppe for some true and tried classic melts. I'm talking comfort food here people, no room for guilt afterwards. I recommend El Tampeno sandwich and a side of waffle fry nachos.

For a boss cocktail, walk over to The Collection. Actually, just go there first, because once you settle in with a quality drink in hand, the choices might be a bit easier to make.

Don't forget to visit Kofe and Bake'n Babes after dinner. Kofe's take on coffee (see what I did there?) is fresh, simple and flavorful. You can also find small bites or snacks, and for those of you who prefer it, tea. Pair a hot cup of java with something decadent from Bake'n Babes. Chocolate cake with sauteed marshmellow perhaps?

The rad thing about The Hall is that you can sip your cocktail in the lounge, sitting on plus sized leather sofas, or walk around and pick a spot at any of the food counters, the bar, or grab a table instead. Whichever way you go, you'll be able to order from any of the eateries mentioned, and pay just once at the end of your visit. This is the streamlined vision made reality, that The Hall is.
