The Rustic is the perfect place to go at any time of the day. With a family style brunch to die for on the weekends, a large dinner menu, and lots of fun drinks (try the frosé) there is something for everyone to enjoy. The beautiful large patio is ideal for large groups and there is live music to enjoy almost every night and weekend.

2. The Happiest Hour

The Happiest Hour is in the heart of downtown Dallas and their outdoor seating area creates one of the happiest atmospheres during nice weather. They have an awesome brunch menu on Sundays, and, as the name suggests, has an awesome happy hour with discounts on drinks every day of the week. It is currently the largest patio bar in Dallas, and a great place to go before a concert or sporting event at the American Airlines Center.

HG Supply Co.'s rooftop bar is the perfect spot to have dinner or a drink while enjoying the Dallas skyline from Greenville Avenue, not far from SMU. The food on their menu is all natural and healthy, so there is no guilt in splurging at this favorite spot. 

4. Henry's Majestic

Henry's Majestic is a go-to for weekend brunches because of its sparkling bar, where you can craft your own drinks with an assortment of juice, champagne, and fresh fruit. Their brunch menu has dishes like avocado toast and has been awarded as one of the best brunch spots in Dallas. With your friends and mimosas, enjoy the large outdoor patio for spring brunches and warm summer dinners. 

Katy Trail Ice House

Located in the heart of Uptown and right on the Katy Trail, the Ice House is spot for a fun, relaxing brunch or dinner. Walk down the Katy Trail to the Ice House to enjoy a wide range of Texas beers and their take on Texas barbecue. They also have a large menu of other classic sandwiches, hot dogs, and very popular burgers. Bring your dogs along too for a nice walk and a yummy meal on their huge outdoor patio. 

Truck Yard

The Truck Yard is a fun, casual setting with a wide range of food options to choose from. There are different food trucks there all the time—so no matter when you go, you will always be able to find something you like. Other than the food trucks, the Truck Yard also has a full time Philly cheesesteak shop and ice cream stand  to beat the summer heat. On the weekends, different local artists come to entertain while you enjoy the food, drinks, and the outdoors.
