For some reason, majority of cafes and restaurants close early in Boston. It becomes a little inconvenient when majority of things close at nine to almost 10 at night and you're busy with school, work, late night meetings or rehersals, or simply hanging and you don't have time to eat dinner till later in the evening. Although it looks like everything is close, there are some late night dining spots around Boston that thankfully accommodate to those late night eaters.

South Street Diner

This small diner is open 24/7 and serves all the delicious diner dishes you can think of; pancakes, burgers, milkshakes and fries - they have it all. You'll see people coming here from local parties, solos that can't sleep, or students that are having a long night from studying. It's a cool place to get your late night fix.

Bova's Bakery

Bova's have pizza, sandwiches, cannolis, sfogliatelles, and tons of other amazing sweets. And hold on, it gets better, they are open 24/7 as well! This little bakery is right next to Hanover St. where all the best Italian restaurants are at, so it's a great place to get dessert after a late night meal.

There are a few Tasty Burger locations in the city. Each restaurant joint closes at different times going from 11 p.m to 2 a.m. depending on where you go. Either way, the restaurant closes late, which is convenient for someone who is in need for a burger.

Yard House

Price Range: $$

Yard House is a perfect night out in the city dining place since it closes at 12:30 a.m., latest 1:20 a.m. It's lively and in the perfect location. After a baseball game at Fenway Park or concert at House of Blues you can headover to this place or a nice dinner, and even have the plus of having happy hour on drinks, pizza, nachos and more.

Price Range: $$

This uber cute cafe and restaurant is open till 11 p.m. on weekdays and 12 p.m. on weekends. If you need a place to have a dinner date or coffee to keep you going for a long study session, this the perfect place to go.

Don't think you are deprived from eating late at night in the city (at least that's what I thought my first year in college trying to find a place that was open in the middle of the night). There's more around your area, you just have to search a little.
