Bergen County is jam-packed with some of the best restaurants in New Jersey, from authentic Jersey diners to high-end favorites. However, it may seem nearly impossible to eat somewhere within budget. This list will prepare you to eat some of the best food Bergen County has to offer without making a dent in your wallet.

1. Nellie's Place

Nellie's is known for their thin crust pies, yet there is so much more to try. The Elkin wings are also a fan favorite, as well as the self-serve salad bar. This affordable family-oriented sports bar is packed with Waldwick patrons on the weekends, so make sure to get there early to try some of their amazing dinner options.

4. Johnny and Hange's

Johnny and Hange's could seriously be the reason why New Jersey is known for its hot dogs. Established in 1939, the old school joint offers each menu item "all the way," which is code for mustard, onions, and their signature chili sauce. What's better is the fact that hot dogs are just $2.29, burgers are $2.99, and fries are $2.59. When you're parking, make sure not to take the spot reserved for Elvis!

5. Tito's Burritos

Tito's Burritos in downtown Ridgewood hits the spot when it comes to your burrito needs. With $8.95 you'll be able to try some of their signature burritos, such as the Bird is the Word or the Maui Wowie. They also offer a dozen wings for just $11.95 with your choice of six different sauce options.

Not only does Park Wood serve up some of the best deli sandwiches and pizzas in Bergen County, but you will leave without a dent in your wallet.

8. Big Bowls Little Plates Noodle House

As college students, we have come to know and love the art of ramen. Big Bowls Little Plates in Rutherford also embraces a love for ramen and Asian fusion cuisine.
