Ample Hills Creamery first opened in 2011, in Prospect Heights in Brooklyn. Since then, they have opened three other permanent locations, all in the five boroughs of NYC. But on May 15, 2016 Ample Hills extended outside New York City and became available to a lot more people by becoming a part of Walt Disney World.

While it's not in any of the parks, Ample Hills is on the Boardwalk, a short walk from the Disney Hotels the BoardWalk Inn, the Swan and Dolphin Resorts, and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club. You can also get there by walking from either Epcot or Hollywood Studios, or taking a bus from any of the parks to the BoardWalk Inn.

Ample Hills Creamery is known for its delicious and unique flavors, and this new location is certainly living up to those standards. Some of their most popular flavors include PB Wins the Cup, which is vanilla ice cream with peanut butter flakes and homemade peanut butter cups, and St. Louis Ooey Gooey Butter Cake.

Other favorite flavors are Sally Sells Seashells, orange marshmallow ice cream with salty chocolate seashells, and my personal favorite, Butter Pecan Brittle, which is dark brown sugar ice cream with pieces of homemade brittle.

If you don't live in New York City, and aren't getting to Disney any time soon, don't worry, you can still have Ample Hills Creamery's great flavors. You can order their most popular flavors online. Just because we associate ice cream with summer, doesn't mean we can't have it all year long.
