What Are Trader Joe’s Holiday Hours For 2023?

Are you a procrastinator? No worries, because frankly, many of us are! However, if you’re in charge of making an appetizer, side item, dessert, or whole Thanksgiving, Christmas, or holiday meal, I would make sure to get a move on sooner rather than later. In fact, it was recently shared that Walmart and Target will be closed on Thanksgiving day, which is a huge win for retail workers. Everyone deserves to spend a lovely day at home with family, friends, and pets dressed in little sweaters. Additionally, for all the girlies out there who want to bring Decked Out Tree Cookies, Jingle Jangle Pretzel Twists, and Peppermint Joe-Joe’s to your family who live nowhere near Trader Joe’s, make sure you plan accordingly. Here are the recently announced Trader Joe’s holiday hours for 2023.

What are Trader Joe’s holiday hours?

Trader Joe’s is always a go-to spot for grocery shoppers looking for easy weeknight meals and wild and wonderful snack options. Most stores across the country are open daily beginning at 8 or 9 a.m. and close daily at 9 p.m. However, stores will have reduced hours or closures on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

According to Instagram user @traderjoesnew, all Trader Joe’s stores will be completely closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

Additionally, on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, Trader Joe’s will have reduced hours. However, on the day before Thanksgiving, all stores will be open for regular hours. Check your local store to make sure you know what your holiday reduced hours look like.

When is the best day to shop at Trader Joe’s?

As you plan your holiday meals, make sure you’re shopping smart. According to Club Trader Joe’s, the best days to shop include Tuesday and Wednesday as these are typically the slowest days. If you plan to shop during the weekend, just make sure you carve out ample time to slowly maneuver around the store and stand in the checkout line as these days always see the most foot traffic.
