The Trader Joe’s Spring Items Have Hit The Shelves

Though the weather is still cold, spring is approaching and warm weather and budding flowers are just around the corner.  To celebrate, Trader Joe’s has already released the Easter items in most locations. From chocolate bunnies to spring-themed sweet treats, here are all the Trader Joe’s spring products to check out.

What does TJ’s have for Easter?

A classic Easter basket addition, the break apart bunny is a gigantic milk chocolate bunny with a lovely smile. But it’s hollow inside, so after a few bites, you’ll find carrot-shaped gummy candies. The milk chocolate bunny bar is fancier. It’s still a bunny, but topped with candy-coated milk chocolate gems, caramel bits, rainbow nonpareils, and white chocolate drizzle.

Next are the eggs. You can get seven high-quality Belgian chocolates all at once in the chocolate truffle eggs. They are egg-shaped chocolates covered with foil in rainbow colors. More exciting is that each of them has truffle filling with different flavors, such as praline, coconut, pistachio, and cookies and crème. If you are bored with chocolate, TJ’s has marshmallow eggs as well. They have four colors — pink, purple, green, and yellow, and each color has three egg-shaped marshmallows in one pack.

During this time of year, the classic Joe-Joe’s become Easter Joe-Joe’s. Each pack comes with four traditional chocolate and vanilla crème Joe-Joe’s. Two are covered in milk chocolate, white nonpareils and pastel, and egg-shaped confetti sprinkles; the other two are covered in white chocolate, pink sanding sugar, and easter-themed fondant decals.

Are you looking more for spring in TJ’s?

Spring is the best season to have a tea party, and Trader Joe’s has some new products that pair perfectly with a cup of tea.

Cannelés are a fancy French pastry with a crunchy crust and a soft interior, and Trader Joe’s now carries them. You can enjoy four caramelized, soft, and custardy treats in one TJ’s cannelés box. Homemade cannelés are notoriously difficult to make but not anymore: take them out of the package and place them in a 350°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes, then enjoy.

If you are obsessed with caramel, TJ’s has butter caramel hard candies — a very old school but still popular flavor. When a piece of hard candy melts on your tongue, the first taste is rich and heavy butter flavor; then, hints of creamy and salted caramel follow it. The candies are individually wrapped, so it’s easy to share with your friends and family. Coconut is also a popular and refreshing flavor for spring. The Trader Joe’s toasted coconut mini sheet cake uses coconut milk for a super rich base. The toasted coconut flakes throughout add a crunchy bite, and the cream cheese frosting makes it a lovely, sweet treat.
