I’m here for every limited-edition seltzer, beer, wine, and honestly any other alcohol that starts trending on TikTok, but this? I’m not so sure I need this. Elon Musk's Tesla has officially announced a limited-edition beer called GigaBier. It comes in a bottle design that’s inspired by the Cybertruck and is shipping across Europe. A 3-pack is going for €89, which amounts to roughly $96. A $30 beer is most certainly out of my college budget.
While this isn’t Tesla’s first go at making alcohol, it has been a while since they were in this sort of market. Back in 2021, they released a limited edition Tesla Tequila, which was sold in a lightning bolt bottle and subsequently sold out, even at a $250 price tag. I also can’t say that Tesla Tequila was something I was ever dying to get my hands on, but if anyone has an empty bottle, I’d love the look for my post-grad bar cart.

The website states that Tesla’s GigaBier is a pilsner-style brew, made in Berlin, Germany with their “exclusive strain of ‘Cyberhops’ (whatever that means?) and notes of citrus, bergamot and sweet fruit.”
So what do you think? Are you hoping to get your hands on beer from Tesla? I think I’m going to sit this one out and stick to Natural Light from a frat basement.
