Last week, Shake Shack announced a free Chicken Shack sandwich deal every Sunday this month to promote its “Eat More Antibiotic-Free Chicken” campaign. The Chicken Shack is made fresh every day and is made with antibiotic-free chicken, “something not everyone can say these days…” the fast food chain said in its blog — a stab at Chick-fil-A’s new “No Antibiotics Ever” policy. Shake Shack’s other chicken products (the Korean Style Fried Chicken Sandwich, Avocado Bacon Chicken, and Chicken Bites) are also made with antibiotic-free chicken.
Aside from the shade, here’s how to get a free Chicken Shack sandwich deal every Sunday during April.
Here’s how to get a free Chicken Shack sandwich deal.
It’s simple. Customers need to just place a minimum $10 order through Shake Shack’s kiosks in-store, the app, or website using the promo code CHICKENSUNDAY at checkout. This freebie is not valid, however, for drive-thru orders or orders made through third-party delivery apps (e.g. Grubhub, Postmates, Uber Eats).
The free Chicken Shack — a crispy, white-meat chicken breast over lettuce, pickles, and buttermilk herb mayo on a toasted potato bun — will then automatically appear in the cart along with the desired items. Keep in mind, there’s a limit of one free Chicken Shack per order.
The promo is available at all Shake Shack locations nationwide, excluding those located in airports, stadiums, arenas, travel plazas, and museums. So, have every Sunday this month — April 14, April 21, and April 28 — marked on your calendars for this freebie.
