What is happening to Wendy’s Frostys?
On March 6, Wendy’s announced the upcoming release of several new frozen desserts. These include Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions that are taking a tasty spin on their signature Frostys.
Frosty Swirls will be available in chocolate and vanilla and are swirled with the customers’ flavored sauce of choice. Similar to McDonald’s McFlurries, Frosty Fusions also includes an ice cream base, a sauce swirl of choice, and an assortment of mix-ins and toppings to add.
When will the Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions be available?
While Wendy’s has not announced an official release date for these new frozen items, it is rumored to be available on menus this spring.

On February 21, Wendy’s started releasing a new frosty flavor based on the beloved Thin Mints Girl Scout cookie. With the choice of a chocolate or vanilla base, this ice cream was then swirled with a thick and creamy minty sauce combined with cookie crumbles.
To honor this collaboration and its iconic flavor, Wendy’s has a new deal available for customers exclusively on March 12 for National Girl Scout Day. When customers purchase any item within the Wendy’s app, they will receive a free, small Thin Mints Frosty. Who could say no to this delicious deal?

In October of 2024, Wendy’s partnered with Paramount to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the SpongeBob Squarepants. With a mix of nostalgia and endless flavor, the fast food chain released a ‘Krabby Patty Collab’ which also featured an exclusive Frosty flavor.
The action packed meal included a side of their signature salted fries, the ‘Krabby Patty Kollab Burger’ which contained a quarter pound of beef topped with melty cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and a secret Krabby Patty sauce spread on a toasted bun.
