We Have Some Questions About Kourtney Kardashian’s Bath Picnic

I think most of us can agree that food often makes places better. A comforting tub of warm, buttery popcorn in our lap at the movies, an assortment of sweet and savory snacks for the road trip, or a bag of trail mix on a scenic hike all elevate the experience. Now, how about a bath picnic?

In a recent Instagram post, Kourtney Kardashian shared a carousel of pictures from her life, but the third one shocked up. It’s of her rosy pink bubble bath surrounded by quite the spread of various foods on her tiled bathroom floor. I spy with my little eye: some macarons, bottles of champagne, strawberries, a half-eaten burger, and some presumably plant-based chicken tenders on the bathroom floor…I just noticed a salad far off in the corner as I was writing this list.

Kourtney’s bath-time feast seems to have sparked some debates, questions, and controversy over the matter. We’re seeing some heated conversations in the comments about whether or not food in the bathroom is appropriate at all, and it looks like the reactions are looking like a mixture of disgust, shock, and intense confusion.

“Food on the toilet 😮 that’s nasty,” one commenter said.

“That bathroom scene is what nightmares are made of,” another noted.

I gathered my friends to get their thoughts on this bath picnic scene, and we have some questions. How does this logistically work? Do you schedule a bath picnic during your normal meal time or during your bath time? Is this  an efficient way to bathe or dramatically multitask in this generation? Also, how do you get the food from your bath? Would you flop over the edge of your bathtub for a bite every time? We can’t imagine that being too graceful. And isn’t it bad to eat while lying down? Also, what do you do if your food gets into your bath?!

We’ll leave these questions for you to ponder as we continue playing a game of I Spy with Kourtney Kardashian’s bathroom floor.
