What is the Friday the 13th deal?
This may be one of Krispy Kreme’s cheapest deals. Customers can get a dozen original glazed doughnuts for only 13¢ this Friday the 13th. That’s so cheap it’s almost spooky. There’s a catch though: customers must first purchase a regular priced dozen of doughnuts or a 16-pack of minis in order to get the 13¢ for a dozen deal. Krispy Kreme can’t just give away doughnuts all the time. Is it really a catch though? You’ll be walking home with more than a dozen doughnuts for practically the price of one. In fact, 13¢ is almost equivalent to zero, so you’re getting a dozen doughnuts for basically nothing!
To access the deal, customers must use the promo code “13,” in honor of the spooky date. The code can be used in-person or online if you order via the website or app.
While you’re at Krispy Kreme, you might as well pick up a limited edition Barbie themed doughnut. For the iconic doll’s 65th anniversary, Krispy Kreme released four brand new doughnuts, each featuring a Barbie design. Since you got a (practically) free dozen, you have an excuse to splurge on some bright pink doughnuts. The Barbie doughnuts are available until September 15, so tomorrow is the perfect time to snag some!
If you’re in the mood for an additional sweet treat, head over to Wendy’s for their “Frosty” the 13th deal.
