These Food Brands Are Celebrating Taylor Swift’s New Album

What do Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, Wendy’s, and Baked By Melissa all have in common? These food brands, and more, all know that to get customers on a fall Friday, they need to embrace the celebration of Taylor Swift’s new The Life of a Showgirl album that dropped at midnight.

With dazzling food deals, storefronts decked in orange and green, and Taylor-inspired products for the special occasion, Swift has successfully transformed an ordinary fall Friday to a quasi-holiday — and one that food brands will not be skipping out on.

While you’ve got Swift’s new album on repeat for the foreseeable future, here are the food stops you need to make to celebrate the sparkling new album.

Starbucks

At Starbucks locations worldwide, customers join in a glittery global listening party of Swift’s new album. Participating coffeehouses will be jamming out to the album, but that’s not all — the first 113,000 fans who caught the Easter egg in Starbucks social posts will unlock a free drink of their choice.

If you’re lucky enough to live in Nashville, Starbucks has a bedazzled treat in store — at one location, the coffeehouse will be transformed for the weekend into The Live of A Showgirl Starbies coffeehouse. The experience will include an exclusive vinyl pop-up record store, photo booth, friendship bracelets, sparkling cold foam and more.

Wendy’s

Wendy’s isn’t one to sit out on an album celebration. If you roll into your local Wendy’s on Friday, the store will be offering a free Hot & Crispy Fry of any size with any $5 purchase, exclusively via the Wendy’s app.

Make your meal The Life of a Showgirl-inspired by dipping your friends in the blood orange Scorchin’ Hot sauce or completing the snack with a green beverage — take your pick between a Lime POWERADE or a Minute Maid Lemon-Lime Lemonade.

Nothing screams celebration like a batch of cupcakes, and fortunately, Baked By Melissa knows that the album drop is no different. If you’re planning a listening party with friends or are just looking for a treat as you round your third or fourth listen, look no further than this cupcake brand.

Fans of the delectable cupcakes and Swift’s music can order a Showgirl Cupcake 12-Pack for $19 by shopping online at BakedbyMelissa.com or in NYC stores while cupcakes last.

Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme is the doughnut brand that always seems in-tune with the celebrations of the day, so it comes as no surprise that the brand will be jumping in on Swift’s celebration. Storefronts will be offering orange doughnuts for customers to indulge in while they rock to the new tracks.

No more “Original Glazed” doughnuts — for the entirety of Friday, these doughnuts will go “full orange,” according to Krispy Kreme’s social media.
