53 College Town Chipotles Will Be Open Until Midnight On Halloween

Chipotle. It’s a fast-food chain that college students are obsessed with. The chain has something for everyone, including vegan options. Guac might be extra but it’s an expense that I’m willing to pay every time (and do I also have that copycat guac recipe saved, yeah).

Yesterday, the fast food chain announced that it is going to be extending its late-night hours, specifically for certain college town Chipotle locations — 53 to be exact. Plus, Chipotle’s annual Boorito tradition is back on Halloween at all U.S. restaurants.

OMG, Chipotle is open until midnight?!

Typically, some Chipotle locations close at 10 p.m. with others closing at 11 p.m. But this year and for the first time ever, the brand is extending its operating hours until midnight in select college towns on Halloween. This is to cater to the preferences of college students who like the convenience of getting food whenever they want. According to Chipotle’s announcement, the fast-food chain has seen a “30 percent increase in transactions after 8 p.m. on Halloween, and 81 percent of 18- to 26-year-olds surveyed reported wanting to see Chipotle open until midnight.”

Well, those wishes have been granted to 53 college towns that eat the most Chipotle.

These new hours are also in celebration of the Boorito’s return, the brand’s annual Halloween tradition, with a national $6 digital entrée offer from 3 p.m. to close on October 31 for Chipotle Rewards members. Just use the promo code BOORITO at digital checkout on October 31. This just means those 53 college town Chipotle locations, have an even longer opportunity to enjoy that $6 entrée.
