The Internet has been obsessed with Starbucks’ Pink Drink the past few days. You’ve probably seen it floating around Instagram, but in case you haven’t, check out #PinkDrink on Instagram.
As soon as I saw news of this, I trekked out to the nearest Starbucks during my lunch break to try this mysterious (and aesthetic) drink. Verdict? It’s definitely worth a try.
Not only is the drink a gorgeous shade (Pantone’s color of the year), but it’s also delicious, low in calories, and perfect for the warmer days ahead. Bonus? There’s a bit of green coffee extract in the drink, which gives its drinkers a mild caffeine boost.

But hold up — before you tell the barista you’d like the “Pink Drink,” you should know what’s inside and how exactly to order it. It is a Strawberry Açaí Starbucks Refreshers™ with coconut milk and your choice of strawberries and/or blackberries. Starbucks has too many pink-colored drinks, so save yourself some miscommunication and embarrassment, and just tell the baristas what you want in your drink.

A venti came out to be just $3.95 and tasted just like Strawberry Calpico to me. Others believe it tastes like Nesquik’s Strawberry Milk or even pink Starburst candy. Either way, it’s a tasty thirst-quencher that won’t ruin your every day diet.
