Let's face it – living on campus can get pricey, especially if you're living the avocado lifestyle. Between making avocado toast, guacamole, and more guacamole, the cost of buying all those avocados can add up. Fortunately for UBC students, a new Twitter account has popped up. @UBCAvocadoWatch has been sharing avocado prices at stores around campus.
Although the account is barely two months old, it has already given away a "dairy-free" avocado, participated in a University of Victoria student petition to bring back mozzarella sticks to their bistro, and offered to track the price of avocado toast on campus. The creator has even hosted an AMA on the UBC subreddit.
Though the owner of the account is anonymous, we hope they continue in their noble quest for the cheapest avocados around campus.
