This past week, our chapter decided to team up with OrderUp Iowa City to deliver some pizza and happiness to students all over campus. The idea was simple: follow our Instagram (@spoon_iowa, incase you don't already follow us), snapchat @OrderUp_IC with your exact location, and let us bring you free pizza. With finals week quickly approaching, we figured it would be fun to bring a little happiness to everyone that's working hard.

We started off the night with 7 cheese pizzas from Gumby's. We announced the rules and waited for the snapchats to roll in. The first snap was from two people in the IMU, so we decided to stop by.

Then, we had Danielle, who we think is ballsy and a little bit crazy. She snapchatted us in the middle of lecture in Phillips Hall. We didn't want to disappoint, so naturally we delivered. Her professor was sort of confused and didn't seem very excited that we were disrupting his class, but we did it for the love of food. What did you expect?

Once we were done disrupting class, we got a few snapchats from freshmen in the dorms. First, we stopped at Currier to deliver to a guy who saw us coming from down the hall and was thrilled to receive some free pizza.

Then, we headed right next door to Burge. It took us a while to figure out where we were going, since that building is a maze, but we eventually made our way to a floor lounge and made two hungry girls very happy.

Despite the risk of the terrible Dubuque Street traffic, we decided to head on over to Mayflower to help make writing a paper a bit easier. This girl was super excited to receive her free pizza, and everyone in the Mayflower lobby seemed a bit envious

Once we left Mayflower, we received a snapchat from a few fraternity brothers who wanted in on the pizza shenanigans. We simply crossed the river to Frat Circle to deliver some happiness and what one of the guys referred to as "Christmas coming early".

After delivering to the frat house, we had one pizza left. With a few different people in our Snapchat DMs, we truly were not sure who to choose. However, we realized we were already on the west side of campus, had already delivered to the east side dorms, and figured we could make some people working at the Hillcrest front desk pretty happy.

We had a great time delivering pizzas with OrderUp and seeing everyone's reactions. Some people were super excited to see us, others were a bit embarrassed. But at the end of the day, we're just trying to spread a little bit of happiness during arguably one of the worst times of the semester.
