All things food—trendy or just downright delicious—are great. But sometimes it's hard to keep up with all the food news out there. To help you stay in the know, here are three new food things that you need in your life today.

OMG Pink KitKats Could Be Coming to the US Soon

Let's break it down. Last year, the world was introduced to pink chocolate, more officially referred to as ruby chocolate, and everyone wanted a piece. The chocolate has a natural pink hue and a slight berry flavoring. Unfortunately, it wasn't being sold mainstream, until Nestlé Global jumped on it and launched KitKat Ruby in Japan and Korea. Now, those same KitKats are being released in Tesco stores in the UK this week. But wait, there's more!

According to Foodbeast, the official KitKat Instagram account revealed in the comments section to hopeful Americans that following the UK launch, KitKat Ruby would be released in Europe and the Americas. So, is that official confirmation? There's no press release yet, but it sounds like it, friends.

Halo Top Is Opening Another Scoop Shop With Some Very Beautiful Sundaes

Halo Top is opening another scoop shop in Westfield Century City (Los Angeles) on April 24. Fans who attend the grand opening will be treated to a photo booth, a 3D art installation, and most excitingly, new sundaes! In celebration of the new digs, Halo Top is launching a series of Instagram-worthy "secret" sundaes.

The first in the series being released is the Stardust Sunday (pictured above) with Halo Top vanilla soft serve topped with holographic sugar free vanilla sauce, star sprinkles and geode crystal candy, all in a galaxy-esque waffle cone. (WHAT IS LIFE?)

There will be more sundaes to come, but the first 50 people at the opening will get the Stardust Sunday for free. Um, anyone wanna take a road trip across the country with me?

These "Healthy" Pizzas Use Chicken as the Crust

Real Good Food, a company based out of LA (of course), have found a way to make pizza for ketogenic and gluten-free friends alike — they've taken away the flour-based crust and substituted it with antibiotic and preservative-free parmesan chicken. The pizza has only 4 grams of carbs and 25 grams of protein per serving, so it's basically "the Halo Top of frozen pizzas."

Another way to look at it is that this is some tricked out chicken parm—either way, we're here for it. You can purchase Chicken Crust Pizza in two different sizes (personal and large), at stores nationwide. Flavors range from classic pepperoni and cheese to an innovative breakfast variety with sausage, bacon, and pepperoni. Yes—here for all of this.
