There's nothing better than freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, still gooey with the warmth of the oven and nearly falling apart in your hands. It makes the time spent fretting over flour and carefully watching the oven all worth it, just to get that perfect first bite feeling. Nestlé Toll House wants you to experience that bite without all the fuss leading up. Now in piloting phases in Washington, D.C., the company has created its very own cookie delivery service using applications such as GrubHub and DoorDash.

How It Works

Nestlé Toll House offers six kinds of cookies through their delivery service, from the classic Chocolate Chip to the more zany White Chip Macadamia Nut, as well as edible cookie dough in Chocolate Chip and Funfetti Flavors. You can order a single large cookie (or two petite cookies) starting at $2.00, though they're also offered in packs of 6, 12, and 24. Nestlé offers two kinds of beverages through their service: a classic Nesquik or a Chameleon Cold Brew.

For someone who wants to try a little bit of everything, the service has an Ultimate Indulgence pack - containing twelve cookies, an edible cookie dough, and two drinks. It's the perfect solution to a house of people itching to get their hands on something different.

Users only need to select their cookie of choice, as well as how many they want, and sit back and relax while they're prepared fresh - just for you. Cookie delivery will debut on GrubHub, DoorDash, UberEats, and Postmates, making it easy to order no matter which delivery app you prefer.

The Solution To A Lonely Winter

Nestlé's service comes at the perfect time. With quarantine restrictions, this winter has seemed longer and lonelier than many others. Even for those quarantined with friends or family, it isn't easy to go months without seeing your loved ones. In times like these, everyone is seeking comfort and craving the softer, sweeter things in life.

Baking has brought joy to many in quarantine, but it can be a herculean task that some may not have the time to dedicate to it even on the best of days. With their new cookie delivery, Nestlé steps in to make it easy. There's no need to compare thirty different recipes from the Internet (although we can certainly recommend a few!) or spend hours playing phone tag trying to track down grandma's recipe. All it takes is a few taps on your phone to receive freshly baked comfort right to your doorstep - safely and efficiently.

The process is simple enough that it can go running in the background while you do other things, not requiring you to halt everything for thirty minutes to prepare a batter, then watch the oven meticulously over an hour. It's the perfect, modern way to experience comfort food, with delivery speed convenience and the excellent, original Nestlé recipe.
