Team USA might be lacking in gold medals at the 2018 Winter Olympics, but Hershey's Gold bar seems to be #winning. Hershey's is giving away free Gold bars for every gold medal won by Americans, and is now collaborating with Krispy Kreme to create a new doughnut.
A Hershey's Gold doughnut is now available at participating Krispy Kreme shops for a limited time. It features an original glazed doughnut topped with pieces of the latest Hershey's Gold bar and a salted caramel icing. It's basically the candy bar in doughnut form.
If you're not familiar, the Hershey's Gold bar is basically caramelized chocolate with pretzel and peanut pieces. It's salty, it's sweet, and it's super delish.
Last year, Krispy Kreme partnered with Hershey's to create a Reese's Peanut Butter doughnut. While the pairing of chocolate and peanut butter in doughnut form is hard to beat, I'm betting this Gold doughnut is still a strong contender.
