Growing up, I loved crunchy Nature Valley bars. I always used to remember my mom packing them in my lunch box and it would be almost like a game to eat them without making a mess (I don't think I ever won that game).

When Nature Valley reached out to me to see if I wanted to try some of their new products, I really didn't know what to expect. If I'm being honest, I hadn't had their products in quite a few years and I just knew them as having the messiest granola bars ever.

Their New Products

To my surprise, Nature Valley is behind the whole "real food movement" that I like to think is coming in 2018. Their new products have no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners and contain whole grain oats. As someone who is mildly addicted to granola bars, this makes me happy. Another thing that I love about their new products is how versatile they are–there's something for everyone!

These bad boys come in two flavors: honey peanut butter and cocoa peanut butter. The perfect mid-day pick me up or a perfect addition to your breakfast. I heated up the honey peanut butter square in the microwave for a few minutes then crumbled it on top of yogurt with some blueberries...game changer!

These bars have a delicious soft baked texture of whole grain wheat and oats with a creamy peanut butter filling that curb all of your sugar cravings and leave you satisfied.

Out of the three new Nature Valley products, these were by far my favorite. Coming in peanut butter chocolate and almond butter chocolate (which I fell in love with), these granola nut bars are perfect before or after the gym or even as a quick breakfast.

These are a real food candy bar with a unique triple layer of nut butter, granola & nuts, and chocolate. The best part? The number 1 ingredient in both flavors is either roasted peanuts or almonds. Ingredients that you can't pronounce are so 2017.

Remember the OG messy Nature Valley bars? Usually they came in oats 'n honey flavor or peanut butter but now they are available in ALMOND BUTTER. They are as good as they sound–trust me. So if you don't feel like venturing too far out, give these a try!

Conclusion

Nature Valley had my heart during snack time in elementary school and it has caught my heart again. I love how they are going towards more real ingredients and less added sugars but keeping the flavors that we all love so much. It's 2018. Time to venture out and try some new goodies. These products will be available nationwide by the end of January 2018, be on the look out!
