How to Upgrade Your Coffee Game in Barone
But fear not! If you're willing to put in a little extra effort and a little experimentation, you'll be able to ensure that every cup of Barone coffee is café quality. As a self-described coffee fiend, here are a few options that I love to try out when my morning cup of joe needs a lil twist.
DIY Dunkaccino
At this point, Dunkin Donuts should probably just sponsor me because I mention them so much in my articles. This drink from the Massachusetts-based coffee chain blends together coffee and hot chocolate to create a creamy, chocolatey treat perfect for the chilly walk to Bannow or the DSB.
To get this drink in Barone, just mix together the hot coffee (light or dark roast works well with this one) with the hot cocoa from the specialty drink bar. If you're feeling extra fancy, snag some chocolate sauce from the ice cream bar and get ready to indulge.
Chai Latte
Virgin Irish Coffee
As a proud Irish lass under the age of 21, I'm a bit miffed that I can't add Bailey's to my coffee when I'm feeling a lil' fancy (although there are non-alcoholic versions). But, that's where the flavor shot section of the coffee bar comes to the rescue.
This drink is a lot cheaper than hopping on a flight to the Emerald Isle, and you'll only miss the alcohol a little, I promise.
(Iced) Caramel Latte
To get this tasty drink, fill a cup with ice and pour in your iced coffee and however much milk you like. Swirl in the caramel sauce from the ice cream bar, and that's all there is to it! But, if you're no basic bitch, and wanna up your latte game, add a French vanilla shot from the coffee bar–instant caramel brulee latte from Starbs. All the holiday joy, but none of the controversy over the stupid cups.
Coffee is an absolute essential to keep college kids from turning into a zombie before class. And, if you use these Barone hacks, you'll not only be awake for class, you'll avoid a serious case of déjà brew.
