Nowadays, being dairy-free isn't uncommon. Sadly, McDonald's hasn't gotten the memo quite yet; luckily, Starbucks has plenty of alternative milks for vegans like myself, and now that you know how to order a Shamrock Shake at Starbucks, you can enjoy dairy-free Shamrock fraps all year long—we can't let dairy drinkers have all the fun and yummy drinks.

For a dairy-free version of the Shamrock frap, simply ask for coconut, soy, or almond milk instead of whole milk, and pass on the whipped cream topping. You can either make your own dairy-free whipped cream, or head to your local grocery store to buy a dairy-free whipped cream for the full Shamrock Shake experience.
