All things food—trendy or just downright delicious—are great. But sometimes it's hard to keep up with all the food news out there. To help you stay up to date, here are four pieces of food news that you need to know today.

TL; DR

+ A new condiment combining mayo and ketchup is coming to stores soon, because it's awesome, OK?

+ Starbucks is closing its stores on an afternoon in May to provide new training for employees in an effort to prevent discrimination

+ Starburst just dropped an all pink clothing line to celebrate the pink candies (because those ones are the best and you know it)

+ Sour Patch Kids have a new mango flavor and the candy is not in the shape of "kids," which feels right, yet strange to think about

Mayochup Is Officially Coming to Stores in the US

Last week, Heinz took to Twitter to ask fans to vote on whether or not to bring Mayochup (a combo of mayo and ketchup) to US stores, and the votes are in—it's coming, people! No official launch date has been set, but Heinz has confirmed Mayochup is in fact happening. The combination of mayo and ketchup has been a thing in other countries for a while now, so it's about time the US catches up to this awesomeness.

Back on Twitter, the condiment company is now seeking the help of fans to come up with a name, because apparently Mayochup isn't amazing enough. Uh, Ketcho? Maybe not.

Starbucks announced yesterday that on May 29, they'll be closing over 8,000 of its stores in the US to educate employees on racial-bias in order to prevent discrimination in its stores. The announcement follows an incident at a Philadelphia Starbucks last Thursday, where two black men were arrested after a store manager called the police while they were waiting for a friend. Video of the arrest quickly went viral and gained nationwide attention, prompting a response from the coffee chain. Nearly 175,000 of Starbucks employees will receive the new training, and it will also become part of the on-boarding process for new employees.

Starburst obviously agrees with the general population that the pink flavor is the best—they're bringing back the pink-only pack of the candy and launching a clothing line inspired by the common meme “I am a pink Starburst.”

They’ve teamed up with fashion designer Erin Robertson from “Project Runway” to create “I am a pink Starburst” tees, pink denim jackets, neon signs and more, starting at $10. And seriously, all of this stuff is so cute! Just look at that pink denim jacket... You can start shopping at www.youareapinkstarburst.com today for a limited time.

Sour Patch Kids Dropped a New Fruity Flavor Pack

Sour Patch Kids are dropping a new tropical flavor pack: mango. According to foodies on Insta, so far they've been spotted at Target. User @junkfoodmom says, "the flavor is bold and terrific," while @junkbanter says "they're good, but not good enough that I think they deserve their own pack?" So, looks like you'll just have to give the mango pack a try and decide for yourself.
