What do most people think of when they hear of fall? Leaves, flannels, halloween, and most of all pumpkin spice. Pumpkin spice is a trend that has been going on for the past couple fall seasons, starting with the Pumpkin Spiced Latte. This transformed  many things, most of which no one asked for, into pumpkin spiced flavored. I mean pumpkin spiced puppy chow, seriously? What if we want our fall back? Not everything can and should be pumpkin spice. Here is a list of fall foods that are not pumpkin spice that you can use to celebrate everyone's favorite season.

Apple Cider Donuts

This is a fall classic that does not have pumpkin spice. This amazing donut will bring back memories of apple picking on a crisp fall day. This favorite treat is only seasonally appropriate at this time a year, so everyone tends to fill up on them while they can. Apple cider donuts have been overshadowed by pumpkin spice for way too long, its time that they become the new trend.

Maple Sugar Cookies

This is a new twist on a fall treat. Maple sugar cookies are one way to enjoy the taste of fall without having to deal with pumpkin spice. Maple is huge in the fall seasons, and this cookie embodies the taste of this delicious season.
