Step aside Starbucks. Dunkin' Donuts is in town. Although Starbs has been selling to-go iced coffee for a while, Dunkin’ Donuts just announced that they're now selling ready-to-drink iced coffee, making their debut in the pre-packaged coffee business. I know, we're excited too.

Dunkin' Donuts is actually the world's leading baked goods and coffee chain, with nearly 3 million customers per day (although it may seem like the runner-up to Starbucks).

“This new product introduction will increase consumption of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and increase our brand relevance with existing and new consumers, including many younger customers, which we believe will in turn, drive incremental visits to our restaurants,” said Dunkin' brand's chairman and CEO, Nigel Travis in a statement. Amen to that, Nigel.

These ready-to-drink coffee beverages are available in the refrigerator section of grocery stores, convenience stores, participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants, and even gas stations. So now you really can run on Dunkin' any time, any place.

But wait, we're not finished. These bottled beverages don’t just come in one flavor, but FOUR: Original, Mocha, Espresso, and French Vanilla. And according to the Dunkin’ Donuts website, these drinks feature the same great taste you would expect from any Dunkin' beverage.

Although, it has some stiff competition with Starbucks currently leading in bottled beverages with its Frappuccino, Iced Coffee, and Iced Espressos, these are still sure to be a hit. I mean, being that they are the leading brand in coffee sales, I'm confident Dunkin' will give Starbucks a run for their money.

This new item is available in stores right now. I can hear all of you iced-coffee lovers rejoicing. So the next time you're on-the-go, in need of some caffeine, or are curious about these new drinks be sure to give it a try. Better than Starbucks?
